Resource Sharing

Community Resource People
One of the responsibilities and benefits of being a LAPC member is the sharing of resource people used for the workshops and/or programs. The complete list is maintained on computer at the Brookhaven Free Library, which distributes it annually. Any additions throughout the year can be found on this blog.

It is each member’s responsibility to share new resource people with the alliance promptly in order to keep this list as current as possible. You can send this information to Michelle Kenney at the Brookhaven Free Library. Feel free to email (mkenney22@gmail.com) this or send through the system bag. Please make sure to include the Organization name, Contact Person, Phone number, Address, Fee, Topic they cover and any other information you think is helpful.

Flash Talks

Recently, the librarians belonging to LAPC decided to have FLASH TALKS instead of the periodical sharing.  Each librarian will bring a book, article, or pamphlet that will be of interest to other librarians.  A review is written, including ordering materials.  Multiple copies are either brought or sent to the LAPC meeting for all members.
